Do kids still enjoy playing Barbie dolls today? Whenever I pass by the pretty Barbie dolls in the shop, I dramatically ask my friends, " Why did I even desire for Barbie dolls as a kid? So, on the last day of Punakha Tsechhu, I was forced by a little girl to try my luck (lucky dip) from her shop. Surprisingly, I got a Barbie set which made me reminisce my childhood days. There were times when girls wished to own a Barbie collection when we were young. In fact, I remember myself crying my heart out and begging my parents to get one for me. As a little girl, it was very difficult for me to not desire a Barbie doll. It was fun styling their dresses and hair. The mobile phones were not really an option back then. So, I used to find comforts in playing those dolls. Those inanimate dolls were what made my heart full. The answer for my second question was always there at a certain part of my brain. The fact that I can remember and speak about those times makes my childhood memories more special and dear to my heart. Also, it reminds me that I had a fun and happy childhood days.
